Outsourcing

Robots, yet again, are blamed for outsourcing troubles. Once manual labor became solely the realm of machines, white collar labor was not far behind. Despite many advances in augmenting humans (Englebert would be proud) no one really was able to compete with the dedication that mechanized sentience affords. Their only ambition: work. All the benefits of promotion hungry yuppies and none of the salaries or personalities (unless of course you buy the upgrade).

In the words of the robot labor unions "We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not... fuck with us. "
You could be forgiven for mistaking this as a quote from the movie Fight Club
